Some of Ryan Garcia's past opponents have been defeated by the time the bell rings due to the name the 27-year-old brings to the table.
None of that will bother Mario Barrios on Saturday night as he looks to defend the WBC welterweight title for the third time against Ryan Garcia from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, live and exclusively on DAZN PPV.
In Barrios' (29-2-2, 18 KOs)Â last time out in July, he went to a majority draw against boxing's only eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao. A wealth of knowledge was gained by going 36 minutes with a legend of the sport that will come into full effect against Garcia.
"It was a great experience," Barrios told DAZN.
"He's definitely a one of a kind. I took a lot from that from that fight. Just being in there with somebody with his timing, his skill, his speed. Just was going to use that in every way to grow as a fighter."
Will that experience be enough to get past Garcia, who is 19 years younger than Pacquiao was when he fought Barrios.
The  WBC welterweight world title is on the line this Saturday - Feb 21 - as Mario Barrios and Ryan Garcia go toe-to-toe, exclusively on DAZN. Buy the PPV as a one-off cost or get included with DAZN Ultimate Tier.Â
