'Life kicks you in the balls!' - Dillian Whyte eyes chance to avenge losses before Moses Itauma battle

Dillian Whyte admitted that "life kicks you in the balls" as he laid out hopes for another world title shot, and insists he has "nothing to lose" against Moses Itauma this weekend.

The veteran, a former WBC interim champion, is back in action against the WBO #1 contender at Riyadh's ANB Arena, live to watch from Saudi Arabia on DAZN Pay-Per View.

It has been a long three years since Whyte fought for the full crown against Tyson Fury at Wembley Stadium, with the star admitting he could have given a better performance.

Speaking at Tuesday's Grand Arrivals however, the star stressed that he is happy to be the underdog for Itauma, while hatching plans and hopes for his future past the star.

"It's good to be back," he said. "I'm up against it, but it's a good place to be. I haven't got anything to lose, so it's good to be in this position. I've got nothing to prove to myself.

"I've far surpassed where I've come from. Sometimes, I think to myself, I'm thirty-seven years old, I've got a wife, kids, and I'm one of the best fighters in the world.

"Sometimes, it's unbelievable. I'd love to get a chance to avenge my two defeats, and I'd love to fight for a world title again. I don't think I did myself justice last time.

"Sometimes, you're there but not really there, and I think that's what happened in the Fury fight. When you're a family man, sometimes life kicks you in the balls at the wrong time."
