Let's look at who is dominating the headlines on Friday, February 6.

Benn frontrunners revealed

Conor Benn and Shakur Stevenson may have gotten in each other’s faces last weekend, but it does not look like they will be fighting any time soon .

Their face off at the end of Stevenson’s dominant win over Teofimo Lopez may have created some headlines, but that is as close as they will get for the time being with Benn exploring options.

Frank Smith, a big player at Matchroom, Benn’s promotional company, has confirmed that Benn is looking at either Rolly Romero or the winner of Ryan Garcia’s clash with Mario Barrios on February 21.

"I think Conor wants to win a 147-pound world title. He's got a Rolly Romero opportunity that we're working on,” said Smith when speaking to talkSPORT.

"He's got the Ryan Garcia against Mario Barios winner — he’s mandatory for the WBC world title — and he’s always wanted to win that WBC belt.”

Wardley vs. Dubois is on according to Chisora

Derek Chisora has a big fight in April when he faces Deontay Wilder in London, but the British heavyweight has also been speculating about other major battles in his division.

Hyping his showdown with Wilder this week, Chisora has been pressed on many subjects with one being the next fights of Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley

Both men, rivals of Chisora, have been linked to several grand fights in recent months, but it has been revealed by Chisora that the heavy-handed pair are set to face each other.

“I’ll tell you a scoop. Daniel is fighting Fabio [Wardley]. Don’t tell anyone,” said Chisora when speaking to Seconds Out

Are fight fans about to see a massive all-British world heavyweight title fight? Chisora appears to think so.

Figueroa's Liverpool war cry

Brandon Figueroa is in a confident mood ahead of his upcoming world title clash with Liverpool’s Nick Ball

The industrious American is in Ball’s home city this weekend and he is promising a big performance.

The fight is expected to be one of the most intense battles of 2026 with two entertaining boxers going at it, and Figueroa is already promising to bring the action just hours before the first bell sounds

“I always bring the fight. I’m always very prepared, very conditioned and me and my team have worked really, really hard in camp,” said Figueroa at the final press conference before the fight

“I'm just very confident. I know what I bring and know my abilities. On Saturday night, the Liverpool fans are going to see my style of fighting and you guys are going to love it.”
