Three-times undisputed world champion Oleksandr Usyk has officially relaunched his boxing promotion, Usyk17 Promotion , unveiling plans to build a global organization designed to meet the challenges of the digital era and develop the next generation of boxing stars.

The renewed promotion aims to redefine the traditional boxing model by focusing not only on organizing fights, but on athletes as personalities and long-term brands. Built as a digital-first platform, Usyk17 Promotions will emphasize storytelling, media presence, and strategic career development as its core competitive advantages.

Usyk expanded on his vision by revealing that "This spring, in Kyiv, we want to hold a big tournament - we'll announce it a little later. We will announce where it will be, on what date, which month, who will be on the main card, and on the undercard."

"Exclusively, these will be young promising boxers from Ukraine and beyond," Usyk added.

Usyk17 - the future of boxing

Usyk17 Promotions was first launched in 2020, but its operations were suspended following Russia’s full-scale military invasion. Usyk’s popularity, which has grown significantly since then, along with his team’s expanded experience, is expected to help propel the promotion to the global level.

“Champions are formed long before titles. The path matters more than quick success,” said Oleksandr Usyk. “My incredible team and I have done tremendous work and gained invaluable experience on the road to my championship belts. And we are ready to share it with the new generation of athletes.”

The promotion will initially focus on the development of Ukrainian fighters, aiming to prepare them to carry forward Usyk’s legacy and emerge as the next Ukrainian stars of world boxing.

The first major signings, along with announcements of the promotion’s first events, are expected to be revealed later in February.

Usyk is one of the few fighters that openly wants to share his experience to directly effect the next generation of fighters.

This project will serve as a beacon of hope for citizens effected by the war in his homeland.

"We will help these guys reach their goals, and everything that depends on us - we will do it for the growth of new champions from our country," added the world champion
