Jordan Thompson has a huge opportunity to make a big dent in the heavyweight rankings when he faces Lenier Pero in Florida this weekend .

Thompson tried to become world champion at cruiserweight in his last fight two years ago when he was beaten by Australia’s brilliant Jai Opetaia.
