Shakur Stevenson attained four-weight kingpin status on a busy night in New York City as he defeated Teofimo Lopez for the WBO light-welterweight strap at The Ring 6.

The Newark fighter crossed the Hudson for another triumph as he dethroned his opponent from Brooklyn by unanimous decision at Madison Square Garden on Saturday.

Stevenson was not the only man who tasted success, with Bruce Carrington earning his world title stripes against Carlos Castro and Keyshawn Davis victorious too.
