Terence Crawford names the major all-American fight he wants to feature on his undercard with Canelo Alvarez
Terence Crawford will be an interested spectator when Canelo Alvarez and William Scull collide on May 3 in Saudi Arabia, live on DAZN .
Since defeating Errol Spence in 2023 , Crawford has made his intentions clear about challenging Canelo and he could get his wish later this year.
Unbeaten at 168lbs, Canelo has made the division his own in recent years after capturing all four world titles and beating all his rivals including Callum Smith and Caleb Plant.
If successful against Scull, Canelo will once again be undisputed ruler meaning Crawford could challenge for all four world titles at a third weight class.
Another big fight for the American fight public is Gervonta Davis vs Shakur Stevenson, and Crawford would love for that fight to take place on the same show.
Crawford is close with Stevenson and when recently asked about who could feature on his show, Crawford was clear he would like to see that bout.
“I don't know [about the undercard]. It's going to be crazy. It should be crazy,” said Crawford when speaking to The Ring.
“That would be dope. If Tank was not so cocky to be on a Terence Crawford undercard, that would be dope. But I don't see Tank taking a backseat to any fighter because he will think it's the Tank show. So I don't know. But it should be a good undercard.”
