Rolando Romero did whatever he could to troll Isaac Cruz during the buildup to their Saturday night fight, even getting a customized chain with Cruz's likeness set to chihuahua ears, mocking the Mexican's "Pitbull" ring moniker.
Well, it turns out that "Pitbull" had the last laugh as he devastated Romero with an eighth-round TKO to become the new WBA super lightweight world champion at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
After watching Cruz accomplish the feat, Ryan Garcia took to his X account and proceeded to pepper Romero with insults while the former champ was down.
Despite the comment, Garcia, who fights Devin Haney on April 20, doesn't think Cruz would stand a chance against him.
That being said, Garcia added that he'd gladly take on Cruz after he deals with Haney.
