Perhaps the biggest question going into Friday's weigh-in was how much more Eddie Hall would weigh than Tommy Fury ahead of Saturday's DAZN PPV headliner from Manchester, England.
The answer is 107.8 pounds as Fury came in 217.8 while the former World's Strongest Man tipped the scales as Hall admitted he got in better shape as his 'fitness is the best it has been for 5 years', coming in at 325.6 pounds.
The fun was just beginning after Fury and Hall weighed in. They went into the cage to face off. Hall kept kicking the plexiglass to get at Fury. But he was unsuccessful. Fury backed away, left the cage, grabbed a microphone, and dared Hall to come do a faceoff. Hall obliged, took his shirt off, and went into an intense face-to-face with âTNTâ before both guys went their separate ways for the last time before fight night.Â
With a significant size and weight advantage, one might say Hall could send Fury flying to the canvas with just one shot. Hall admits it could take a bit more than that.
âIt might take more than one shot. You've got to line that shot up, but if it happens, it will happen," Hall told DAZN's Charlie Parsons after the weigh-in.
Fury (11-0, 4 KOs), on the other hand, is ready to fight and promises to send Hall packing and back to where he feels 'The Beast' came from.
"He could be 400 pounds heavier than me, I donât give a fâk," Fury said. "Iâm ready to fight tomorrow. I donât care whose in the opposite corner. âThe Beastâ is going back into his cage tomorrow night. I will reign supreme again.Â
"Whatever shot lands first, it will be good night."
