Summer of Stadiums: Fury-Makhmudov kicks off packed open-air schedule
Tyson Fury kicks off the comeback trail once again tonight against Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
'The Gypsy King' returns for his first fight on British soil since his trilogy win over Derek Chisora at this very venue in 2022.
In a sense however, this is more than just another bout - it is the starting gun on a summer of stadium blockbusters to boot.

Tyson Fury vs. Arslanbek Makhmudov

- Venue: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
- Weight: Heavyweight
The Briton will look to snap the two-bout losing streak against Oleksandr Usyk that sent him into retirement back in 2025.
A proven draw on British shores these days, it would be unusual if Fury was not expected to fight in a stadium back home.
His return to Tottenham however suggests an affinity for the Morecambe-based fighter, having spent his last fights in Riyadh.
Dave Allen vs. Filip Hrogivc

'The White Rhino' will get his dream of a homecoming in his beloved Doncaster, and plans to take his foe for a Toby Carvery.
Queensberry/Leigh Dawney
Allen, whose journeyman career is enjoying a second wind, will enter as a major underdog against Kabayel for this encounter.
Nevertheless, in the surroundings of the relatively compact 15,231-capacity venue, he will hope to enjoy a night to remember.
Ryan Garner vs. Michael Magnesi

- Weight: Super featherweight
Announced this week, the undefeated former British champion will also take the biggest bout of his life in Southampton.
Garner has made no secret of his desire to secure a fight at the home of his beloved Saints, and now finally has his chance.
Italian Magnesi may not be the most starry name among the division, but he will still be keen to play his part in the occasion.
What other stadium bouts could yet be announced?
There may already be a few major bouts locked and loaded for the British public - but more could be on their way too.
Josh Kelly has spoken about taking an IBF light-middleweight defence to his native Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
Conor Benn, in action on the Fury-Makhmudov undercard, meanwhile wants WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia.
That bout was often touted as a possible stadium affair for 'The Destroyer' during his Matchroom days, and could still be.
Lastly, there's Fury himself again, and his long-awaited dance with Anthony Joshua, in a dream heavyweight matchup.
Dublin's Croke Park was reported to be a lead contender for the bout earlier this week, for a much-hyped showdown.
