Tyson Fury's return to boxing has delighted Eddie Hearn, but the Matchroom supremo will not be drawn on a bout with Anthony Joshua.
The former announced he would return to the ring earlier this month, almost a year after he called time on a glittering heavyweight career.
Expectations of a reversal had swirled across 2025, with many anticipating a comeback could finally see Fury face fellow Briton Joshua.
But the latter's involvement in a fatal car accident that left him injured and killed two friends and members of his team has halted any talk.
Hearn, who has sought to broker a fight between the pair for years, admitted that he was happy to see Fury step back into the arena.
However, he was insistent that there would be no decisions made on Joshua's future, and refused to speculate on any potential clash.
"On the whole, [it is] great to see him back," he told Sky Sports News. "Every time I pick up my phone, there's a new Tyson Fury story.
"Boxing can save you at many different stages in your life. I think physical training is the greatest form of mental help that you can get.
"I think Fury looks like he's buzzing at the moment. We've had a lot to say over the years, but I love the fact that he's back in boxing.
On Joshua, Hearn added: "I think it's not even something to discuss publicly, What was discussed in the past is kind of irrelevant.
"The key will be if and when, Anthony chooses to return to boxing. If he does that, we will then start to see what a roadmap looks like."
