Decimating Dillian Whyte at Wembley; April 23, 2022
If anything, contentious contract negotiations between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte only delayed a severe beating. A raucous crowd of 94,000 fans saw ‘The Gypsy King’ use his seven-inch reach advantage to keep Whyte at the end of the jab.
This ultimately led toward a picture-perfect uppercut that timbered Whyte back and onto the canvas for a flattening knockdown. Though ‘The Body Snatcher’ courageously made it onto his feet to beat the count, he badly stumbled upon the referee’s command to walk forward and the bout was stopped as a result of a sixth-round TKO with one tick left in the frame.
Shutting the door on Wilder rivalry; October 9, 2021
The controversial draw in their first fight and Fury running roughshod over Deontay Wilder in the sequel paved the way for the heavyweight rivals to throw hands one more time for their trilogy. Those who packed T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and many more watching from home, were treated to an absolutely wild affair.
Fury drew first blood, unloading a barrage of shots to drop Wilder with a thud in the third round. However, just when it looked like Fury would steamroll his way to another dominant victory, Wilder stormed back. The very next round had ‘The Bronze Bomber’ lining ‘The Gypsy King’ up for a massive right hand which burst through the guard for a riveting knockdown. Though Fury made it back onto his feet, a compact right hand made the Brit hit the deck with 20 seconds left in the fourth as well.
Despite scoring two knockdowns that round, Wilder couldn’t put Fury away as the latter used his skills and brute force to reassert control. ‘The Gypsy King’ uncorked a short right hand behind the ear to drop Wilder in the 10th, before unleashing a devastating left-right hook combo in the 11th to knock the American out and effectively shut the door to their rivalry.

Fury outboxed Wilder in their initial meeting back in December 2018, but did hit the canvas twice including having to rise up from the ashes like WWE legend The Undertaker in the 12th and final round. The controversial split draw left a taste of unfinished business that was given its platform to be decided more than two years later at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
That’s where ‘The Gypsy King’ systematically bulldozed his way through ‘The Bronze Bomber,’ dropping Wilder in the third and fifth rounds en route to a punishing seventh-round TKO, which won Fury the WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles in emphatic fashion.
Shocking Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf; November 28, 2015

The buildup between then-unified world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and Fury included the challenger donning a Batman costume and boldly declaring in their press conference that he believes Klitschko “will be one of my easiest fights.” That Klitschko touted a stronghold over the division in an undefeated streak of 11 years, including 18 straight title defenses, only made Fury’s boast sound all the more crazy.
That said, Fury shocked Klitschko and the boxing world over by defeating the champ at his own game. The chess match in Dusseldorf, Germany had Fury frustrating Klitschko by switching stances and landing the cleaner punches in an eye-opening unanimous decision upset that crowned him the new unified WBA, IBF, WBO and The Ring heavyweight ruler.
Stopping Derek Chisora in rematch; November 29, 2014
Though their first fight managed to go the distance via a unanimous decision nod for Fury more than three years prior, the rematch carried a dramatically different result.
Fury used the backdrop of London’s ExCel Arena to steadily impose his will on ‘War,’ systematically picking apart his fellow Brit behind a prodding jab before overwhelming him toward an eventual corner stoppage following the 10th round. They’d meet in a trilogy bout in December 2022 with Fury cruising toward another 10th-round TKO.
