Floyd Mayweather Jr. faces his most unusual challenge to date Sunday night, when he clashes with social media superstar Logan Paul in an exhibition bout live on pay-per-view.
Mayweather, an International Boxing Hall of Famer and arguably the greatest boxer of all time, touts a pristine 50-0 record, having defeated the legendary likes of Oscar De La Hoya, Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Manny Pacquiao.
Mayweather last scored a 10th-round TKO of Conor McGregor back in August 2017, before producing a first-round TKO of Tenshin Nasukawa during an exhibition bout in December 2018.
Paul is 0-1 as a pro, having lost to fellow YouTuber KSI in November 2019.
The Mayweather vs. Paul main card launches at 8 p.m. ET/1 a.m. BST on Sunday, with the headliners expected to make their ring walks at approximately 11 p.m. ET/4 a.m. BST, although that depends on the length of the earlier fights.
In the United States, Mayweather vs. Paul can be watched and live streamed on Showtime pay-per-view for $49.99. In the United Kingdom, the fight is available on Sky Sports Box Office.
The spectacle that is sure to be this Mayweather vs. Paul main card will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Mayweather boxed in Florida twice over the course of his glorious pro career, while Paul has never fought in Florida.
