This summer, the FIFA Club World Cup will take on a brand-new format as 32 teams head to the USA to compete in the revamped version of the competition.
The best of Europe, Asia, South America, North America, Africa and Oceania will lock horns in a tournament akin to a World Cup or European Championship finals event.

It has been 25 years since the first incarnation of the competition began, as Brazilian side Corinthians became the inaugural winners of what was then called the FIFA Club World Championship.
Since then, Real Madrid have set the bar, lifting the trophy five times, while four English clubs have been victorious in the competition.
