There may be some good news on the horizon for Arsenal as they navigate a growing injury crisis amid their bid for titles on four different fronts.
Riccardo Calafiori and Ben White are in contention to play in Wednesday's Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, while Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard could return to the lineup this weekend.
The Gunners continue to lead the Premier League and remain alive in the Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup. With the finish line of all four competitions inching closer, Arsenal's fixture list is congested, partially contributing to their injured list as demands on the squad take their toll.
Calafiori, who has missed several games already this season, was pulled from the Arsenal lineup moments before kick-off of their 4-0 win over Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup on Sunday, but Mikel Arteta has allayed fears of another long spell on the sidelines for the left-back.
“He’s fine, he was training with us today,” the Arsenal manager said of Calafiore on Tuesday. “He’s feeling better and hopefully he’s fit for tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, right-back White started in the FA Cup tie but was substituted with just over 10 minutes remaining in a move Arteta described as a precautionary measure.
“It was just a bit of fatigue, obviously he did a lot in the game," Arteta said of White. “By the end of it, he was feeling a bit of tightness in the hamstring, but he’s fine.”
While the full-backs' return to Arsenal's lineup appears imminent, the same cannot be said of Havertz and Odegaard. Those players have missed two and three matches this month, respectively, and Arteta said the earliest we could see either feature would be in Sunday's North London Derby against Tottenham.
“No, for Wolves (Martin’s) not going to be fit, but for Sunday we’re very hopeful that he can be with us," Arteta explained.
“Kai is the other one that again, for the weekend is a possibility, so looking forward to having him in the squad.”
