Bayern Munich vs Auckland City will take place at 12:00pm ET in Group C on Sunday, June 15 as the opening fixture in the pool.

It is the home of FC Cincinnati of the MLS and will host four games during the FIFA Club World Cup.

The giants of Germany will go into the tournament in good spirits, having won back their Bundesliga crown in 2025. Vincent Kompany led Bayern to the league title in his first season as Harry Kane continued his remarkable scoring rate by not only winning his first major honour but bagging back-to-back top scorer gongs, too.
Munich have already strengthened since the end of last season, bringing in Jonathan Tah on a free transfer from Bayer Leverkusen to bolster an already solid defence and he could make his debut in their Club World Cup opener.
The tournament is also the setting for Thomas Müller's swansong, as he is set to leave the club at the end of his current deal.

The New Zealanders are one of the rank outsiders in the competition and face two top European sides as well as the Argentine giants Boca Juniors in Group C.
Auckland City are currently midway through their season and come into the tournament off the back of three straight wins and scoring nine goals in their last two domestic games.
It's form they'll need to try and replicate if they have any chance of making an impact against Bayern Munich.

It's a massive leap in quality for Auckland City and it won't come much tougher in this tournament then facing the German champions. It's hard to see anything but a comfortable win for Vincent Kompany's side, and Harry Kane amongst the goals.
