No team has netted more goals than FC Bayern München at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ so far, as the Bavarian giants look determined to add yet another crown to their growing title collection.
In order to do that they'll have to get by reigning European champions Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Staidum. Here, we've taken a look at how they've reached the last eight.
Bayern sent records tumbling in their opening-day win over Auckland in Cincinnati. Kingsley Coman scored their maiden Club World Cup goal in what was the first of ten unanswered strikes form the Bavarians, with Jamal Musiala becoming the first player to take home the match ball.
Harry Kane was uncharacteristically quiet in the Auckland rout but he needed just 18 minutes to open his global finals account against Boca Juniors with a typically well-taken finish. Boca looked set to earn a draw when Miguel Merentiel scored a sensational solo goal, but they were left heartbroken when Michael Olise curled in a worldie of his own to secure their knockout berth.
Section supremacy was still up for grabs in their all-European group finale, but an early Andreas Schjelderup goal proved enough for Benfica to eke out a narrow win and squeeze beyond Vincent Kompany's men into first place.
Flamengo were their last-16 challengers and Bayern looked to be making easy work of the Brazilians when an own goal and a superb Kane strike saw them saunter into a two-goal lead with less than ten minutes on the clock. Gerson and Leon Goretzka traded goals to give Bayern a 3-1 half-time lead, but that was quickly cut back down when Jorginho netted a penalty ten minutes after the break. Fla pushed from there but Bayern and Kane wouldn't be denied, as the Englishman struck his second late on to secure victory.
