Manchester United look to take another step towards Champions League qualification on Friday when they travel to face AFC Bournemouth to start Matchweek 31 of the Premier League.
The Red Devils enter the weekend in third place, having leapt over Aston Villa amid a prolonged purple patch under caretaker manager Michael Carrick.
Man United are now very much in the running to be among England's representatives in next season's Champions League, but they could also put pressure on crosstown rivals Manchester City — who are busy with the Carabao Cup final this weekend — with a victory, which would bring them to within three points of Pep Guardiola's side.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth are on an extended unbeaten run of their own, having avoided a loss for 10 straight league matches. Things could be better for the Cherries though, as six of those games were draws, including their last four.
Regardless, Bournemouth are also chasing European football, but they need to start piling up wins as the season draws to a close.

"The way they are playing lately, it is hard to think that we will get a clean sheet. They are scoring for fun lately and they have top players. We will need to get goals to get something."

"It's a tough place to go. They're on a really good run of form. So yeah, [a] difficult game, you know, we're obviously going down there. We've had a good run, and the boys are in good shape but yeah, always a difficult game. Always has been and probably always will be. So, we know that, they’re a really good team, well coached, really well coached, and good energy. And so we know we're being for a game down there, Friday."
Iraola said it himself that he doesn't expect to keep a clean sheet, although with the Cherries' draw streak it bodes well that they will also score in this one.
Another draw seems a strong possibility.
Prediction: Bournemouth 1-1 Manchester United
