Familiar foes meet in the knockout phase play-offs of the Champions League as Stade Brestois face Paris Saint-Germain across two legs for the right to move on to the round of 16.
The first leg goes Tuesday in Brest, where the teams will square off against French opposition for the first time in a European competition.
But while they've never met in a European tournament, Brest and PSG are regular opponents in Ligue 1, most recently meeting on Feb 1 as the Parisians ran out 5-2 winners.
Here's what to know about Brest and PSG before their first-leg match.
PSG hold the all-time lead in matches between these sides, with 26 wins from 42 games.

"PSG are much better collectively [than Real Madrid]. We played against Real Madrid a few days ago, where we were able to impose our game and play a bit, but in this PSG team, everyone runs, everyone attacks, and everyone defends. They are serious candidates to win the Champions League."

“Matches against Brest are always difficult, whether at home or away. They are team capable of scoring two goals in two minutes. They are a well-built squad who are very good on crosses and second phase balls.
“We will have to be extremely focused and disciplined for the full 90 minutes, in both halves of the field. For our part, we need to improve in all aspects of the game, especially in defence. Ludovic Ajorque is very good at holding up the ball, Romain Del Castillo is a constant threat… They are a team that can cut their opponents in two, that can play short and long. That’s why they are a dangerous opponent.”
The Parisians should be expected to win fairly easily here, as they did 10 days earlier when the teams met in Ligue 1.
Prediction: Brest 1-3 PSG
