Today at the World Cup: The Iberian Derby and added spice for USA's knockout clash with Belgium

Well, the World Cup continues to thrill and amaze.  

After Norway swept aside serial winners Brazil, and England triumphed in a slugfest at the Azteca, it can't get better than this surely. 

It can. 

There are two more Round of 16 matches today, one which sees two neighbours go head-to-head and the other overshadowed by a moment of controversy off the pitch. 

Here, DAZN News previews the next two chapters of this memorable World Cup. 

Portugal vs. Spain 

• Date: Monday, July 6 
• Kick-off: 8pm BST / 3pm ET / 12pm PT
• Venue: Dallas Stadium

Portugal and Spain, which have struggled to light up the World Cup, meet in the Round of 16. 

However, while Spain may have stuttered at the start of this campaign, they are hitting good form at the right time. 

The 3-0 Round of 32 win against Austria was Spain's most complete performance so far, with striker Mikel Oyarzabal hitting his stride.

Portugal, meanwhile, came through a nailbiter with Croatia with Goncalo Ramos' late winner to triumph 2-1. However, Portugal's defence looked shaky and against a clinical Spain, they will be punished.

USA vs. Belgium

• Date: Monday, July 6
• Kick-off: 1am BST / 10pm ET / 7pm PT
• Venue: Seattle Stadium

Just one tournament host remains, and for the USA, they face their toughest test of the tournament yet against Europe's Belgium. 

However, this match has been overshadowed by the decision to suspend the red card awarded to USA striker Florian Balogun, prompting outrage from the wider footballing world. 

Belgium now have extra motivation for this Round of 16 clash, however, the Red Devils will be stepping into a cauldron atmosphere in the football-mad city of Seattle. 

USA's defence will need to be on point, Belgium still have dangerous attacking threats, winger Jeremy Doku the standout, but with the European side yet to get going, the Americans will fancy themselves with the backing of a home crowd to reach the quarter-finals.
