Harry Kane's potential club options amid contract talks with Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has begun this season in the form of his life, and given his already high standards, it's incredible that he keeps getting better and better.

So far, the England skipper has scored 18 goals in his first ten games for Bayern Munich, including breaking the record for the fastest time to reach 100 goals for an elite European club - beating Erling Haaland and Cristiano Ronaldo's total, no less.

It's the kind of numbers that are the envy of every other club in Europe, which has sparked suggestions about Kane's future, and whether or not we'll see the 32-year-old return to the Premier League.

Kane is halfway through his four-year deal in Germany, but has a complex clause that could allow him to leave the club next summer for a knockdown price.

Although the striker has already hinted at a possible new deal with Bayern, DAZN News looks at the possible options for Kane if he were to leave the Bundesliga champions.

Bayern Munich

In two seasons at FC Hollywood, Kane has already carved out a legacy at the famous German club.

103 goals in 106 games is simply an unbelievable record, and it's seen the striker end his career-long trophy drought by lifting the Bundesliga title in 2025. The question is then, why would he need to leave?

There are still two years remaining on his deal, where not only could he add to his trophy cabinet, but also continue to break goalscoring records to make him an all-time Bayern great.

On a personal level, he seems more than happy, and is playing the best football of his career, so a new contract feels like a no-brainer.

Tottenham

Perhaps the only thing that could entice him back to the Premier League is another record that, for a long time, looked out of reach for anyone.

Kane is second in the league's all-time goalscoring list behind Alan Shearer, a mere 47 goals behind the Newcastle legend. A total that, given Kane's current rate, wouldn't take long to achieve if he were to come back to England.

And, if he were to return, it feels like Tottenham would be the obvious option. He's already the club's all-time leading goalscorer and can claim he still has unfinished business, having never lifted a trophy with the North Londoners.

Boss Thomas Frank has already gone on record stating he'd welcome Harry back to the club, but could the reunion really happen?

Manchester United

Kane has been linked to both Manchester clubs in the past, but until Erling Haaland departs The Etihad, it's hard to see City being in the market for a new number nine.

United, however, would love to show they still have the pulling power to bring the very best to Old Trafford by signing England's record goalscorer.

The only issue is, do they actually have the power anymore? This is a Kane who's now used to playing Champions League football and competing for championships, neither of which is happening at United anytime soon.

Until Manchester United get anywhere being Manchester United again, it's hard to see them attracting Kane.

Barcelona

The wildcard option could see Kane take his striking talents to a third elite league and Barcelona.

They'll soon be a Robert Lewandowski-shaped hole in the Barca squad at the end of the season when the Pole's contract expires in Spain and likely moves on.

What better replacement than a man who has superseded some of Lewandowski's achievements at Bayern and could do the same at the Nou Camp.

Kane would certainly enjoy the challenge of trying to break records in another of Europe's big divisions.

MLS

It's no secret that Kane is a massive fan of American sports - notably the NFL - but would that be enough for him to make a move to the US permanently at this stage in his career?

It feels like a move way too soon in his career, even if there'd be no shortage of teams ready to make the England captain their designated player.

It's more likely that this becomes a possibility a few years down the road, when Kane can wind down the final stages of his career, but for now, there's far too much left in the tank to consider a move Stateside.
