The match

Internazionale and Urawa Reds will go head-to-head in their second Club World Cup outing, which will be pivotal in determining the final standings in Group E. Inter Milan punched their ticket to the tournament via the UEFA ranking pathway, thanks to their strong performances over the four-year qualification period (2021-2024), which included reaching the final in 2023. Urawa have lifted the AFC Champions League trophy on three occasions (2007, 2017 and 2022), and it was the last of those titles that booked the Reds’ ticket to the Club World Cup.

The city of Seattle has two reasons to celebrate the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, with Seattle Sounders having qualified as Concacaf Champions League winners in 2022 and the iconic Lumen Field – which boasts a unique horseshoe shape with an open north end that gives a stunning view of the city skyline – named as a host venue.
