Juventus progress to Round of 16 with 4-1 win against Wydad AC

Juventus have reached the Round of 16 in this year's FIFA Club World Cup with a 4-1 win over Wydad AC.

The Italian giants ran out to an early 2-0 lead, with their second being a wonder strike from Turkish forward Kenan Yildiz.

Wydad did have a sustained period of success in the latter stages of the first half after Thembinkosi Lorch pulled one back in the 25th minute. 

Juventus managed to withstand this pressure and it was Yildiz once again who scored just before the 70-minute mark. 

The three points were then wrapped up by Juventus in added time when Dusan Vlahovic calmly put away a penalty.

Ahead of a showdown with Manchester City next week, the pressure is off for Juventus who know a place in the knockout stages is already guaranteed.
