Bournemouth have wasted little time in announcing who will replace outgoing boss Andoni Iraola in the Cherries hotseat next season, by confirming the appointment of Marco Rose.
Iraola revealed last week that he wouldn't be renewing his contract on the South Coast, ending a three-year spell that has seen the club enjoy its best-ever Premier League run.
The Spanish boss has taken Bournemouth to their highest-ever league position, and this year they are on the cusp of bringing European football to the Vitality for the first time.
However, it will be a new man to lead them into 2026-27, but who is Marco Rose and what will he bring to the club next term?

As a player, Rose was a reliable defender who spent his entire career in Germany, most notably with Mainz.
He played over 150 games for the club and was here where was coached by a young Jurgen Klopp, who was enjoying his first managerial post, where he led Mainz back to the Bundesliga.
Rose was a key member of Klopp's side at left-back and has taken the influence from the future Premier League-winning boss into his own managerial career, knowing that a system of players committed to a system can be as effective as a collection of star names.
After retiring in 2012, he began his coaching journey with Lokomotive Leipzig before moving to Austria and making a name for himself with RB Salzburg.
Here, he won the Austrian Bundesliga title twice as well as the national cup, and left the club to return to Germany with an unbeaten home record whilst at the club.
He continued his progression with Borussia Mönchengladbach, leading them to the Champions League before Borussia Dortmund became his next port of call.
A second-place finish in his first season at Dortmund was achieved, but an underperformance in Europe saw his spell quickly end, and Rose resurfaced at RB Leipzig.
In three seasons, he won the DFB-Pokal and the German Supercup, and continued to be regarded as one of the best young coaches in the game.

Now Rose will move outside of his comfort zone and to Premier League side Bournemouth, and has already been welcomed by his predecessor.
"I think the club will be in very good hands. He's a great manager," Ireola said ahead of his side's clash with Leeds on Wednesday.
"I praised him a few years ago, I always liked his teams and I hope he continues that.
"He's a good manager with a lot of European experience. He looks very exciting. I don't know him personally but I always like his teams.
"They should be happy because he's someone who can definitely improve the team."

So what can the fans and players expect? Well, his style fits the current set-up, really well and it is easy to see why the Bournemouth board went for the German.
He is known for his high intensity, high pressing all-out style, something that shares the same methods and values as Ireola has impressed on the club, even if he does it in a more German-influenced way.
Rose also brings experience of European football too, having managed in the Champions League and Europa League - a competition the Cherries have hopes of being a part of next term.
The 49-year-old has been out of work since leaving Leipzig in March 2025, so he comes as a free agent to the South Coast, refreshed and ready to experience life in the Premier League for the first time.
There's no doubt he has some big shoes to fill, but Bournemouth are now playing in a new league, and this appointment shows how far they've come and where they want to go.
