Michael Carrick's winning run may have come to an end with Manchester United's 1-1 draw with West Ham on Tuesday, but it hasn't stopped the clamour for the interim boss to be considered for the permanent position this summer.
The former Old Trafford midfielder has quickly revitalised the club since Ruben Amorim's departure, and the club are now aiming for a Champions League berth at the end of the season.

Numerous names continue to be linked with the post on a full-time basis, although Thomas Tuchel is now out of the running following the announcement of his contract extension.
However, Carrick's former England and United teammate Michael Owen has championed the 44-year-old to be given the job this summer.
Speaking exclusively to DAZN News, thanks to Casino.org who review prediction markets, Owen feels the club could regret not giving Carrick the job because he ticks all the boxes they need going forward.
"I’ve seen many people say you can’t give Michael Carrick the job regardless, but I can’t disagree more," he said.
"Man Utd have tried absolutely everything over the past decade. Proven Managers, experienced managers, ex players, new kids on the block, the latest top coaches from Europe and he's the one manager that all of a sudden that is getting a tune out the players, the crowd are buzzing, the confidence is flowing, seems a stability, has the right demeanour, he gets the club, a proper guy, done it the tough way as well.
"Imagine if he qualifies for the Champions League and the board say thanks for the job Michael and now we’re going to employ someone different and then Man Utd go back to what has been happening the last 10-12 years.
"I mean, talk about shooting yourself in the foot, he is there, under your nose and Michael won’t thank me for saying this, he is the perfect option, he will come cheap, the club don’t need to buy the manager out of a contract.
"Finances also aren’t excellent at the club, so here is a guy who understands the club, lives locally, has a family in the area, no problem with anything, speaks the language and you can get him for a fraction of the price that many other managers."

Owen has also been casting his eye over the Premier League's Golden Boot race.
The striker, who twice won the award as a Liverpool player in the 1990s, says despite a dip in form over the winter months, there's still no one who will be to catch current leader Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian scored on Man City's 3-0 win over Fulham in midweek and is on course to win the award for a third time.
"I do expect Haaland to push on now and win the Golden boot," Owen added.
"Man City haven’t been great at all this season, but with Haaland as the main striker, he will get plenty of chances from here on in until the end of the season, so he should win it comfortably. Even with City’s struggles at times this season, he has 22 goals, so pretty good.
"Injury aside, he has a nice lead at the top, and can’t seen anyone catching him. However, a shout out to Thiago at Brentford, who is having a remarkable season and doing really well. The Brazilian has 17 goals, which is a great return."
