On a satisfactory evening for the Parisians, they were even afforded the luxury of fielding Ousmane Dembele for the first time in the tournament, who came on as a second-half substitute.

The forward, who has scored 33 goals this season, missed PSG's group phase action with a thigh injury, but made his return against Miami and told DAZN after the game he's ready for a strong finish to proceedings in the USA.

He said, "It’s going well. I wanted to get back into the rhythm a bit, feel the pace, the pitch. It had been three weeks, it did me good to come back, especially with this score, the qualification, it’s very good."

"I had spoken with the staff, I said I wanted to take my time, so it would heal well, to come back fresh. It did me good to take a break."

"I worked, I trained this season, it’s been a success for me, especially on a personal level. I hope to finish this season well with this Club World Cup."

Luis Enrique's men had no problems in dealing with Miami in Dembele's absence, and it was João Neves who stepped up to the plate to score his first brace for the club, something he was delighted about after the game.

"We played a very good match. We were leading 4–0, but we kept playing our game," Neves told DAZN.
