The October international break is underway, but we take one final look back at the weekend that was in the Premier League for the latest edition of our Power Rankings.

Matchweek 7 saw Arsenal take over the top spot in the standings while former leaders Liverpool dropped their second straight match in the league (third overall).

Meanwhile, Arsenal's north London rivals are the biggest movers of the week and there's a familiar team at the bottom of the list.

We try to make sense of it all in the latest Power Rankings, which are not meant to look at the overall picture, but rather to provide a snapshot based on current form, strength of opposition and other factors. As always, these rankings are based on Premier League play only.

Here are DAZN News' power rankings after Matchweek 7.

1. Arsenal (no change)

A fairly routine victory over West Ham allowed the Gunners to remain at the top of these rankings while also claiming first place in the real world standings.

Next Match: Oct. 18 at Fulham

2. Manchester City (no change)

The Sky Blues earned a gritty road victory with Erling Haaland once again coming up big.

Next Match: Oct. 18 vs. Everton

3. Liverpool (no change)

Is it crisis time at Anfield? Perhaps not quite yet, but back-to-back losses (and a midweek defeat in the Champions League) mean the once high-flying Reds are now back on Earth.

Next Match: Oct. 19 vs. Manchester United

4. Newcastle (up 1)

The Magpies were expected to defeat Nottingham Forest, and they did just that.

Next Match: Oct. 18 at Brighton

5. Crystal Palace (down 1)

The undefeated run is finally over, and Palace will now have to build a different narrative for themselves.

Next Match: Oct. 18 vs. Bournemouth

6. Fulham (no change)

A 3-1 loss to Bournemouth did not affect the Cottagers in this week's Power Rankings, but any sustained run of poor form will see them drop accordingly.

Next Match: Oct. 18 vs. Arsenal

7. Tottenham (up 3)

Spurs took three points at Elland Road and are back in the win column, earning them the biggest jump of the week.

Next Match: Oct. 19 vs. Aston Villa

8. Brentford (down 1)

A home loss to Man City isn't the worst of results, especially as they held their visitors to just a single goal.

Next Match: Oct. 20 at West Ham

9. Brighton (no change)

Draws on the road are always welcome, although the Seagulls left two points on the table in their 1-1 result at Wolverhampton.

Next Match: Oct. vs. Newcastle

10. Chelsea (down 2)

The Blues are back to winning ways, against Liverpool no less, but their inconsistent form is still unconvincing.

Next Match: Oct. 18 at Nottingham Forest

11. Bournemouth (up 2)

Their two-goal victory over Fulham was their first win in three matches, but the Cherries are primed to shoot up these Power Rankings if their form continues.

Next Match: Oct. 18 at Bournemouth

12. Nottingham Forest (down 1)

Ange Postecoglou insists the team's fortunes will turn around, but another loss will weigh on the players.

Next Match: Oct. 18 vs. Chelsea

13. Aston Villa (down 1)

Back-to-back wins and undefeated in four? Villa may be back, but it's still too early to say for sure.

Next Match: Oct. 19 at Tottenham

14. Everton (no change)

A nice win at the death against formerly undefeated Crystal Palace will help boost morale, but the Toffees need a run of victories before they start climbing.

Next Match: Oct. 18 at Manchester City

15. Manchester United (up 2)

They got their first clean sheet of the season! Now can they follow that up with something positive?

Next Match: Oct. 19 at Liverpool

16. Sunderland (down 1)

The Black Cats were on the wrong end of a shutout against Man United.

Next Match: Oct. 18 vs. Wolves

17. West Ham (up 1)

Losing at Arsenal is not exactly rare for Premier League teams, and it's not going to affect the Hammers' ranking all that much.

Next Match: Oct. 20 vs. Brentford

18. Leeds United (down 2)

Dropped points at home can be very costly at the end of the season for a team like Leeds, so their loss to Tottenham hurts given how hard they fought to equalize.

Next Match: Oct. 18 at Burnley

19. Burnley (up 1)

Another loss, this time to Aston Villa, keeps Burnley in the relegation zone.

Next Match: Oct. 18 vs. Leeds United

20. Wolves (down 1)

As the lone remaining team without a victory this season, the bottom spot is exactly where Wolves belong.

Next Match: Oct. 18 at Sunderland
