Kai Havertz will miss out for Arsenal with a knee injury. Ben White and Christian Norgaard were both absent from the open training session at the Emirates earlier this week. White could feature on Saturday but Norgaard is certainly out. Gabriel Jesus remains sidelined with a long-term knee injury.
Leeds captain Ethan Ampadu has been ruled out until after the international break due to a knee injury. Summer signing Jaka Bijol is in contention for his first appearance after suspension and latest arrival Noah Okafor could also be included in the squad.

Bournemouth (16) v Wolves (20)
Bournemouth should have midfielder Ryan Christie involved again following his groin problem. Winger Amine Adli could make his debut after completing a move from Bayer Leverkusen, along with attacking talent Ben Doak, who signed from Liverpool. Justin Kluivert is stepping up his recovery from a calf issue, but remains unavailable. Luis Sinisterra has joined Brazilian club Cruzeiro on a season loan.
Jackson Tchatchoua could make his Wolves debut following his £10million switch from Hellas Verona. The Cameroon international was brought in to add pace and power down the right but may start from the bench. Striker Jorgen Strand Larsen has been linked with Newcastle but manager Vitor Pereira has no concerns over his focus and is happy to have him leading the line.

Brentford could name Yoane Wissa in their squad after the striker missed the Bees’ opener at Nottingham Forest amid strong interest from Newcastle. Mikkel Damsgaard – who missed the Forest defeat after becoming a father last weekend – is available, Ethan Pinnock, Paris Maghoma and Yunus Konak are fit again, and Dango Ouattara could make his debut after joining from Bournemouth.
Villa are without Ross Barkley and Andres Garcia as the pair remain injured. Ezri Konsa is suspended after his red card last week.

Burnley could freshen up their squad as they prepare for the return of Premier League football to Turf Moor. Axel Tuanzebe and Bashir Humphreys have been back in training following pre-season injuries and have a chance of featuring, while Armando Broja is also closing in on a return. Martin Dubravka, Kyle Walker and Quilindschy Hartman are set for home debuts but Zeki Amdouni, Jordan Beyer and Connor Roberts remain out.
Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris confirmed that defender Jenson Seelt is fine despite being taken off with a knock during the West Ham game, while new arrivals Nordi Mukiele and Arthur Masuaku could be involved. However, Romaine Mundle, Luke O’Nien, Leo Hjelde, Dennis Cirkin and Aji Alese remain sidelined.

Crystal Palace (12) v Nottingham Forest (5)
Daichi Kamada is making good progress from the knee injury he sustained in the Community Shield but Sunday’s home opener comes too soon. The Japan international partially trained with Oliver Glasner’s squad on Friday, and the Palace boss is optimistic the defender will be available for Thursday’s Conference League play-off second leg in Norway.
Nottingham Forest will be without Nicolas Dominguez (knee) but could hand debuts to Douglas Luiz, James McAtee, Omari Hutchinson and Arnaud Kalimunedo.

Everton still have defenders Jarrad Branthwaite (hamstring), Vitalii Mykolenko and Nathan Patterson (both groin) absent through injury. New left-back Adam Aznou faces a fitness test after returning to training on Friday.
Brighton will have Jack Hinshelwood available for the trip. Hinshelwood sat out the 1-1 draw with Fulham due to a knock but returned to training this week. Adam Webster and Solly March (both knee) remain absent.

Fulham will make a late assessment on the fitness of left-backs Antonee Robinson and Ryan Sessegnon. Robinson missed the whole of pre-season after undergoing minor knee surgery in May and Sessegnon also sat out the Premier League opener at Brighton with a knock, so centre-back Calvin Bassey played out of position in the 1-1 draw against the Seagulls.
Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana could return from a hamstring injury at Fulham on Sunday. Noussair Mazraoui and Lisandro Martinez remain absent, while Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia continue to train away from the squad.

Liverpool defender Jeremie Frimpong (hamstring) has been ruled out until next month and with Conor Bradley only just returning to training, head coach Arne Slot has an issue at right-back as Joe Gomez is not fully match fit after missing most of pre-season.
