Goalkeeper: Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa)
The Argentine was immense as Aston Villa earned a 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest, making four saves to ensure that his team claimed all three points.
Right back: Pedro Porro (Tottenham)
Another disappointing home performance by Spurs could not dampen Porro's day against Sunderland, as the defender won 11 duels and four tackles while also completing 11 passes in the final third and creating one big chance.
Centre back: Malick Thiaw (Newcastle)
Scored Newcastle's second goal in their 2-0 win over Crystal Palace and was a defensive giant, with 10 clearances, five tackles and eight duels won.
Centre back: Nathan Collins (Brentford)
Another centre back that chipped in his team's attack, with a goal and an assist to go along with four clearances, two tackles, one interception and seven duels won.
Left back: Ben Davies (Tottenham)
Tottenham's other full-back also shone on an otherwise gloomy outing, scoring Spurs' lone goal, winning three aerial duels and making five clearances.
Midfielder: Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle)
The Magpies' captain led by example, with a superb headed goal, three interceptions and two tackles.
Midfielder: Declan Rice (Arsenal)
The best midfielder in the Premier League was immense once again for the league leaders, scoring twice in their 3-2 win at Bournemouth.
Midfielder: John McGinn (Aston Villa)
Like Rice, McGinn scored twice for his title-contending side while also contributing on the defensive end.
Forward: Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa)
Got the ball rolling in Villa's 3-1 win with his goal at the stroke of halftime.
Forward: Igor Thiago (Brentford)
His goal drought is over as Igor Thiago scored a hat-trick to power Brentford to a 4-2 win at Everton. The Brazilian is now just five goals back of Erling Haaland in the Golden Boot race.
Forward: Cody Gakpo (Liverpool)
Gakpo scored what probably should have been the winner for Liverpool against Fulham, but the Cottagers got a screamer from an unlikely source to secure the draw. Still, another impactful game by the Liverpool forward.
