PSG versus Botafogo will take place at the Rose Bowl, which hosted the first of its six games on Sunday when PSG beat Atletico Madrid 4-0.

The venerable stadium just outside of Los Angeles has hosted the 1994 FIFA World Cup final, the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup final and the championship match in the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Built in 1922, the Rose Bowl is the biggest venue by seating capacity of the 12 that are hosting games in the Club World Cup, boasting an impressive 88,500-seat capacity.

The incumbent European champions appear a safe bet to win Group B after thumping Atletico Madrid 4-0 in their opening game.

PSG were without Frenchman and Ballon d'Or favourite Ousmane Dembele, who suffered an injury while playing for France in the UEFA Nations League earlier this month, but they hardly needed him on Sunday.

The French champions could now rotate for their clash with Botafogo where a victory would confirm their progress to the knockout stages.

Botafogo got off to a winning start to their FIFA Club World Cup campaign by beating Seattle Sounders at Lumen Field. 

First-half goals from Cunha and Igor Jesus were enough to see off the MLS side, who did make the game interesting late in the second half as Cristian Roldan pulled a goal back.

Despite coming under late pressure, Botafogo held firm to secure the three points, with goalkeeper John making a brilliant save deep in added time to deny Seattle an equaliser.
