River Plate 0-0 Monterrey highlights: Spirited stalemate

A hard-fought battle between River Plate and CF Monterrey ended in a 0-0 score at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup on Saturday.

The teams each had their opportunities to score, but it was River Plate that had more clear-cut chances as the Argentine side put six shots on target versus two from the Mexican club.

Regardless, neither side were able to find the back of the net in a match that was punctuated by a late red card to River Plate's Kevin Castaño.
