Paris Saint-German will be looking to avenge their shock 1-0 loss to Botafogo last time out and know that a win will seal their place in the Round of 16 but Luis Enrique's side could still make it through regardless of the result if things go their way in the other match in Group B.

A draw with the Sounders and Atlético de Madrid failing to beat Botafogo would see them progress, alternatively if they lose in Seattle by no more than two goals and Diego Simeone's side lose they will also finish in the top two. The UEFA Champions League winners are still without talisman Ousmane Dembele but should name a strong line up with their tournament future at stake.

Despite sitting on zero points from their opening two games Seattle Sounders still have slim hopes of upsetting the odds and advancing from the group. They know they will have to defeat PSG by three goals and hope that Atlético lose to Botafogo. Kalani Kossa-Rienzi was withdrawn due to injury in the previous loss so Alex Roldan may be recalled.

Who can qualify for the knockout phase?

What they said...

“They're a great team. I mean, it's not just about stopping this guy or this guy. It's stopping this guy and this guy and this guy and this guy, because they have so many talented players.”
Brian Schmetzer, Seattle Sounders head coach

"We approach every game in the same way: we always try to give everything and to do what the coach asks of us. We have one game left, it’s not over yet. We need to win our next match to qualify."
Warren Zaire-Emery, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder

“They are a powerhouse. We just have to go out there and try and compete as best as we can.”
Obed Vargas, Seattle Sounders midfielder
