All eyes may have been on the fallout from last weekend's Milan derby, but as both Inter and AC struggled, it was the Champions League chasers who took the headlines on round 29 of the Serie A season.

But which of them have been included in the team of the weekend? Ash Rose takes his pick.

Ultimate Tier - heavyweight season

Maduka Okoye (Udinese)

Udinese may have lost narrowly at home to Juventus, but the result could have been a lot worse had it not been for the performance of Okoye between the sticks.

The goalie made seven saves to prevent the Old Lady from running away with the victory.

Leo Ostigard (Genoa)

Genoa kept a clean sheet in their win over Hellas Verona, which would have pleased the Norweigan, but he also had an impact at the other end.

Notching his fifth goal of the campaign to secure the 2-0 victory over the league's bottom club.

Antonio Caracciolo (Pisa)

A big day for the big centre-half whose display may have just given Pisa a glimmer of hope in their battle against the drop.

The veteran defender netted twice in the 3-1 win, his first goals of the season, and also stood firm in defence in the vital victory.

Mario Gila (Lazio)

An immense performance at the back for Lazio, as they defeated Milan with a 1-0 win to dent any fading title hopes for the Rossoneri.

Against their all-star attack, Gila was almost faultess and it contributed to a clean sheet and three points.

Alexis Saelemaekers (Milan)

Milan may have blown the chance to put even more pressure on Inter at the top, but it wasn't without the Belgian trying to change the result against Lazio.

He created seven chances for his teammates, more than any other player on the pitch, but couldn't prevent the 1-0 defeat to Lazio.

Lucas Da Cunha (Como)

Another Player of the Match outing for Como's man in the middle, who helped turn the game around for Cesc Fabregas' men.

His control in midfield, contributed to the 2-1 victory and kept Como on course for a first-ever Champions League run.

Matteo Politano (Napoli)

Politano led Napoli's comeback against Lecce on Friday, which saw them edge closer to second-placed Milan.

He assisted the equaliser for Rasmus Hojlund before scoring a winner for the regining champions to secure the win.

Kenan Yildiz (Juventus)

Another week and another performance from Yildiz that turned the game in Juve's favour.

It was the Turkish star who found the formula to unlock a tight game and set up the only goal of the game as Juventus took all three points.

Martin Baturina (Como)

Baturina didn't manage to get on the score sheet, but he was Como's most dangerous attacker in their 2-1 win over Champions League rivals Roma.

The Croatian created six chances in the game - more than any other player - and was a constant threat throughout.

Rasmus Hojlund (Napoli)

Another goal for the Dane, who moved into double figures with the opener against Lecce on Friday night.

His role could be vital in the final few weeks of the season.

Nikola Krstovic (Atalanta)

The Belgian came off the bench early in the second half and earned his side a point at the San Siro.

After a forgettable week in the Champions League, Kristovic's goal was the ideal tonic and his introduction changed the game.
