Why the future is bright for Juventus after securing deal for Kenan Yildiz

Juventus’ announcement that Kenan Yildiz has extended his contract until June 2030 feels less like a routine renewal and more like a statement of intent from a club that has spent the past few seasons searching for a new identity.

There are real questions over how long Juventus will wait to transform potential into silverware – and how the club’s recruitment around Yildiz evolves – but tying him down to a long-term deal provides the sort of continuity that has been missing.

It might not deliver a Scudetto this season, but it plants a seed of belief that the next generation – led by Kenan Yildiz – has arrived to challenge once again.
