PFL: Paul Hughes Wins by TKO and Calls Out Usman Nurmagomedov
It took Paul Hughes just 42 seconds to secure a victory on home soil in Belfast against Bruno Miranda. A swift win for the 28-year-old fighter, who took the opportunity to call for a rematch against Usman Nurmagomedov.

After scoring a knockdown, Hughes (14-2) unleashed his ground and pound to force the referee to step in. A dominant victory for the man now demanding a rematch with Usman Nurmagomedov. Last January, Hughes lost to Nurmagomedov by majority decision after five rounds.
“Usman Nurmagomedov. You can run, you can try to delay this rematch as long as you want, but your day is coming,” warned Paul Hughes after the fight.

In the evening's co-main event, Lewis “McGrizzla” McGrillen (12-1) won by submission in the second round against Alan Philpott. Winner of the PFL Europe bantamweights tournament, the Manchester Top Team fighter won by rear naked choke. At the age of 24, Lewis McGrillen is continuing to build on his success.
