The Argentine scored a great goal on Sunday.

Former Manchester United player Robbie Savage has picked out a goal he thinks is better than Alejandro Garnacho’s striker against Everton.

The young Argentine winger scored a brilliant overhead kick to open the scoring in a 3-0 win for United at Goodison Park on Sunday.

Both the youngster and his manager, Erik ten Hag, thought the strike could be the best goal of the season, at least so far, but Savage - speaking to Planet Sport Bet - thought that some other United goals are even better.

“There’s been some unbelievable goals in the Premier League and Alejandro Garnacho’s was certainly another one,” he acknowledged, before looking to another acrobatic effort.

He continued: “The Wayne Rooney one against Manchester City is one that always springs to mind given the magnitude of the game as does Tony Yeboah’s for Leeds against Liverpool.”

He then suggested that another United winger, David Beckham, has the best ever, saying: “However, the one for me that really stands out is the David Beckham one against Wimbledon from the halfway line.

“It was a goal that catapulted him into another bracket. The vision, the technique and the strike were all absolutely magnificent. Technically, Garnacho’s goal is harder to do, but Beckham’s goal from the halfway line is the best Premier League goal for me.”
