Former Arsenal defender William Gallas praised the team for their efforts against Tottenham in the North London derby.
Arsenal pulled off a 3-2 away win, but were 3-0 up in the first half and only a David Raya error at the end led to a nervy finish.
The victory keeps Mikel Arteta’s men in the hunt for a Premier League - their first in two decades - while Tottenham are still far from certain of landing a top-four finish.
Speaking to Gambling Zone , Gallas said: “To be honest, it’s hard to pick one stand-out player, because I thought it was a brilliant team performance from Arsenal.
“Arsenal have taken another step forward this season – they look stronger and more mature – they’ve gone up a level.
“They have the confidence that they can win every game.”
