The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is the biggest edition of the tournament to date with 32 teams from around the globe competing.

The winning club could earn up to $125million / £93m, which rivals the prize money earmarked for the winners of the UEFA Champions League.

This is made up of $40m for winning the final, added to prize money for progressing from each round.

The total prize pot for the competition is $1billion, up from $16million in 2023.

This is made up of a $475million pot for sporting performance and a participation pillar of $525million.

By comparison, the total pot for FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar was $440million.

European clubs also get graded on sporting and commercial criteria to determine their fee.
