AEW will return to the UK this August after the wrestling promotion announced three huge shows will take place in London and Glasgow this summer.
On Sunday, 24 August, AEW and NJPW will present one of their biggest shows of the year, Forbidden Door, live from London's O2 Arena. In addition to the big pay-per-view event, AEW will head to Glasgow for the go-home editions of both Dynamite and Collison on Wednesday, 20 May, as the OVO Hydro hosts the first-ever Scottish AEW shows.
Forbidden Door will make the first time that AEW has held a show at the O2 in London after previously hosting two massive All In events at Wembley Stadium in both 2023 and 2024.
Upon hearing the news, AEW's UK star Will Ospray shared his delight at potentially being able to perform at one of London's biggest venues.
Taking to social media he said: "Mate. The 02 Arena in London have just posted a photo advertising a pro wrestling company with my face as the main feature is crazy!!
"21st April 2009 I was up in the nose bleeds seats watching in that building.
"24th August 2025 I am the Forbidden Door."
