John Cena will bring the curtain down on his WWE career this weekend as he competes in his final ever match at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington.
It’s the culmination of the seventeen-time world champion’s retirement year, where it’s seen him at the forefront of WWE programming throughout 2025.
Now, though, he will step in the ring one last time on Saturday night in his final night as a professional wrestler.

Over the last few weeks, WWE Superstars have competed in the Last Time is Now tournament to determine who will face Cena in his final outing.
Sixteen names took part in the tournament, but in the end was won by former world champion and record-breaking international champion, Gunther.
The Austrian will now stand across from the WWE legend as the opponent in Cena’s farewell act.
