Fresh off of losing to Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez on Saturday night, Gennadiy Golovkin wanted to make something clear — he'll be back.
"I'm still champion, guys," the 40-year-old GGG, who holds the IBF and WBA world middleweight titles, told DAZN's Chris Mannix.
And that's all Chris Eubank Jr. needed to take to his Twitter account and lay out the following proposition to Golovkin:
Editors' Picks
GGG you had a great run. Come back down to middleweight & let’s fight for those belts you still have in December or just pass em over & I’ll look after them for the next couple years while you enjoy retirement… you earned it champ.

To make either proposal possible, Eubank will have to get past Conor Benn in London, and live on DAZN, on Oct. 8 first.
He does that and perhaps GGG is willing to engage with the British fighter in the ring.
