Quarantining from the coronavirus pandemic is getting to Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia.
On Thursday night, Garcia took to his Twitter account and shared a text message that Haney sent him.
In the text, Haney warns, "Ima f— u up just letting u know," to which Garcia responds, "Good luck," before sharing both the text and his growing cabin fever with the world.
What Devin Haney texted me right now, Please God Heal the world of Corona Virus so we can start fighting again... I can’t take many more of these texts 😅 pic.twitter.com/V7XfqSLZU0— Ryan Garcia (@KingRyanG) April 3, 2020
Prior to COVID-19 turning into a global pandemic, Haney confronted Garcia in the ring following "KingRy's" first-round KO of Francisco Fonseca in February.
That's when Haney told DAZN's Chris Mannix: "If he wants a real fight, come fight me."
Garcia responded: "Hey, we're good fighters, let's f—ing fight!"
During an Instagram Live chat with Matchroom Boxing USA president Eddie Hearn earlier in the week, Haney said the "perfect time is now" for the pair of undefeated 21-year-old rising stars to fight.
"I think that it's just so many big fights out there that could be made — the (Vasiliy) Lomachenko-Teofimo (Lopez), the Gervonta Davis-Ryan Garcia, the Luke Campbell-Javier Fortuna," Haney began rattling off. "There's so many big fights out there that we need to start making these big fights happen now because eventually guys like me, Teofimo, Ryan Garcia ... we're eventually gonna move up, so I think the perfect time is now."
