Conor McGregor's in trouble yet again.
The Irish Independent reports Conor McGregor was arrested in West Dublin for dangerous driving. McGregor faces a fine and a potential six months in prison.

McGregor was reportedly pulled over by the Gardaí, arrested, and then charged with several driving offenses when he was operating his Bentley Continental GT. The luxury vehicle worth an estimated $187,000 was briefly taken by the police. The Gardaí, the police in Ireland, wouldn't say McGregor was arrested due to the country’s privacy laws but did say an arrest had been made.

“Gardaí arrested a man aged in his 30s in relation an incident of dangerous driving in the Palmerstown area yesterday evening, Tuesday 22nd March 2022,” the department told the Independent. “The man was taken to Lucan Garda Station where he was later charged. He has been released pending an appearance before Blanchardstown District Court at a later date.”

After being charged, McGregor was released on bail, and the vehicle was returned to him.

“Mr. McGregor was driving to the gym when he was stopped by Gardai for alleged road traffic violations,” McGregor’s representative Karen Kessler said in a statement to MMA Fighting. “He passed the drug and alcohol tests taken at the station.”

This isn't McGregor's first driving offense in his home country.

McGregor had his driver's license revoked in 2018 and paid a fine after he was reportedly driving over 154km/h in a 100km/h zone. That charge came a year after McGregor paid a fine worth approximately $440 for speeding.

The former two-division UFC champion last fought at UFC 264, losing to Dustin Poirier after breaking his leg in the first round. He is expected to return to action before the end of 2022.
