Champions save Bayern's season

Having failed to reclaim the Bundesliga title, entering the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals looked like the final lifeline for Bayern's season. Playing in front of their home crowd at the Allianz Arena, the Bavarians had their task cut out after drawing 2-2 in England. And the truth is that even with the "home" factor, they had to wait until the 63rd minute for Raphaël Guerreiro's inspiration when he assisted Kimmich for the only goal of the match. With the narrowest of margins, Bayern are still in the running for a place in the competition and are keeping alive their hopes of winning a trophy this season.
