'See you soon' - Devin Haney and George Kambosos Jr. ready for undisputed fight after exchanging tweets

Devin Haney and George Kambosos Jr. exchanged tweets on Sunday night over a potential undisputed clash.

Kambosos is the WBA, WBO, IBF champion as well as the WBC franchise belt holder, while Haney is the WBC champion at lightweight.

The pair have circled one another over the last couple months following Kambosos’ victory over Teofimo Lopez.

Last night, Haney suggested the pair should fight, saying:

“Yo @georgekambosos we making this fight happen or what? i’m agreeing to all you’re terms weather its the vaccine or the travel. Its starting to look like some ducking going on! @EddieHearn”

Kambosos retorted that he would be ready to meet the American down under.

“I love how you manipulate & lie to your fans Lying face Talk a big game but show no action!  

“Abit [sic] like your fights im patiently waiting with all my belts for the offer from your BOSS Mr @EddieHearn because I got a stadium ready in Australia, but I can see the excuses already.

“I’m not here for twitter fights like most of these cats! I’m here for real fights! TBH you got give respect to myself, Teo & Loma! Out of the 1 Emperor, 4 kings & Matrix we 3 stepped up & fought. While the others fought on Twitter Man.vJust stating facts! Now you tell me who ducks” 

Haney appeared to accept the challenge, writing:

“So you want OUR side to put the money up in your backyard? Ok no problem, see you soon and keep those belts safe because they’ll be leaving Australia soon”.
