The second night of WrestleMania 37 had a high bar to live up to from night one of pro wrestling's marquee annual event.

While not as momentous as the previous day, night two of WrestleMania had its fair share of moments, highlighted by Roman Reigns retaining the Universal Championship over Daniel Bryan and Edge in a well-paced and action-packed main event Sunday.

All three competitors told a really good story that delivered in the ring. They put a beating on each other from start to finish that had the crowd on their feet.

Edge looked to be on his way to regaining the belt 10 years to the day he had to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship due to what was believed to be at the time to be a career-ending neck injury. He blasted Bryan with a steel chair to put him out of commission. He was about to do the same to Reigns but the titleholder's cousin, Jey Uso, came back out to ringside and attacked Edge with a chair.

Edge came back and took out Uso. Reigns took advantage and hit a spear on Edge. He beat the tar out Edge with a chair and dragged him on top of Bryan. Reigns then put himself on top of them for the three count to retain the belt.

In the co-main event, Rhea Ripley captured the RAW Women's title in a high octane match over Asuka. It was a battle of power versus technical ability. The brutality of Ripley won out in the end as Asuka went for one final kick. Ripley moved out of the way to hit the Rip TIde to win her first belt on the main roster.

Here is what happened at WrestleMania 37.

Roman Reigns retains Universal Championship

Reigns def. Edge and Daniel Bryan to remain the Universal championship.

Edge had everything well in control and seemed to be on his way becoming the champion after hitting the Conchairto on Bryan and putting him of out commission. He was about to do the same to Reigns but Uso came back and attacked Edge with a chair.

Edge came back and took out Uso. Reigns took advantage and hit a spear on Edge. He beats the tar out Edge with a chair and drags him on top of Bryan and puts himself on top of them for the three-count to retain the belt. A very good match with too many bells and whistles to end the match. The question is now what do you do with Reigns? He's running out of challengers very quickly.

Daniel Bryan, Edge and Roman Reigns are out

To a chorus of "Roman sucks", on top of the steel steps, Reigns powerbombs Bryan through the announce table and then Edge comes out of nowhere and spears him. All three guys are worse for wear.

Edge and Roman Reigns save one another

Daniel Bryan applies the YES Lock to Reigns, the same move he made him tap out to at Fastlane. But Edge saves him. Bryan then applies the same manuever to Edge but Reigns makes the save. What a match so far.

Jey Uso is out of commission

It appears Uso is going to play no role in the outcome as Edge hits a DDT on the steel steps and is taken out by a number of medical personnel.

Jey Uso wrecking shop

Reigns' cousin Jey Uso playing a huge role early on by delivering super kicks to Bryan and Edge. How much of a factor will he play in the outcome?

WrestleMania 37 main event

It's time for the main event of WrestleMania 37 as Roman Reigns defends the Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan and Edge.

A great story has been told to get to this point. This has all the makings of an all-time classic. Have a feeling we are going to get it.

Rhea Ripley wins RAW Women's title

Ripley def. Asuka to win the RAW Women's Championship.

Asuka mixed in her technical prowess along with her underrated power, including a scintilating DDT from the ring apron to the floor. Ripley kept right up with Asuka by using her speed and power to overwhelm her at times.

Asuka is throwing a heavy barrage of kicks but it has no effect on Ripley. She tells Asuka to bring it. Asuka attempts one more kick. She misses. Ripley takes advantage, scoops Asuka right up and hits the Rip Tide and scores the pinfall to win the RAW Women's title for the first time. Not as good as Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks from night one but Ripley and Asuka delivered and put on an exciting match.

Night two of WrestleMania sells out

WWE has told DAZN News in a press release that just like night one, night two of WrestleMania 37 is sellout of 25,675 fans inside Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla.

RAW Women's title match time

Next at WrestleMania 37, Asuka puts her RAW Women's Championship on the line against Rhea Ripley.

While the match should be good, the build has been rushed since Ripley came out of left field to get the opportunity.

A big-time spot for Ripley. Can she deliver like Bianca Belair did on night one?

Apollo Crews wins IC belt due to interference

Crews def. Big E to capture the Intercontinental championship.

Another high-octane contest. Crews puts Big E onto a table and heads to the top rope. He goes for a frog splash but Big E rolls off the table. Big E picks up Crews and connects on the Big Ending and looks to be on his way to holding onto the gold.

Out of seemingly nowhere, a seven-foot giant comes into the ring and attacks. He delivers a ferocious chokeslam and drags Crews on top of Big E for the three count and a new champion is crowned. The Nigerian drums didn't play too much of a factor. Wish this would have gotten more time. Felt rushed.

IC Title match

Up next at WrestleMania 37, Big E puts the Intercontinental championship on the line against Apollo Crews in a Nigerian Drum match.

Sheamus becomes United States champ

Sheamus def. Riddle to become the U.S. champion.

Sheamus and Riddle delivered the goods. They were hitting each other with anything and everything. Sheamus appeared to win when he delivered a Brogue Kick but Riddle kicked out at two.

Riddle gained the advantage and looks to be on his way to a successful title defense when he jumps to the middle rope for a moonsault. But Sheamus has other things in mind. As Riddle is halfway in the air, Sheamus delivers an unheard of Brogue Kick to the ribs. He rolls Riddle for the three count and the Irishman becomes a three-time United States champion. Another fantastic hard-hitting contest. Both guys showed out with the time they were given.

U.S. Title at stake

Right now at WrestleMania 37, Riddle defends the U.S. title against Sheamus.

Like with Owens and Zayn, this is going to be a hard-hitting affair.

Down goes Logan Paul

After the match ends, Logan Paul slides into the ring to console Zayn for a moment and then tells Owens he had a great match. Zayn is stunned and asks Paul what he's doing as they are on the same team. When he finishes yelling at Paul, the social media influencer pushes Zayn down to a chorus of loud boos.

Paul raises Owens hand to even louder boos. Owens is wondering what Paul is doing. Then Owens delivers a Stunner that knocks out Paul to a giant roar of the crowd.  Paul was brought in for a reason and that was it right there.

Kevin Owens wins in fantastic match over Sami Zayn

Owens def. Zayn.

In a highly physical back-and-forth battle, Owens nails Zayn with a hard clothesline. As he is running back to the corner, Zayn flies out of nowhere with a vicious Helluva Kick. Zayn tells Owens he's going to finish him off. Zayn goes for another Helluva Kick but Owens counters with a super kick of his own. Zayn is out on his feet and Owens talks trash and hits the Stunner for the pin.

The best match of the night to this point. Owens and Zayn brought the heavy artillery and delivered the goods.

Best friends lock horns

Coming up at WrestleMania 37, Kevin Owens takes on Sami Zayn with guest — social media star Logan Paul. The big intrigue is Paul and what he's going to do in the match. Owens and Zayn are best friends outside the ring. They are going to want to make a statement and put on a show.

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax remain Tag Team champs

Baszler and Jax def. Natayla and Tamina to retain the Women's Tag Team titles.

In a battle of the Samoan women, Tamina got the better end when she slammed Jax for a near fall. Tamina went to the top rope for the Superfly Splash but Jax moved out of the way. Tamina tagged Natalya, who was cleaning house on Jax when Baszler made a blind tag. Natalya knocked Baszler off the ring apron and put Jax in the sharpshooter. As she was about to tap out, Baszler came in and snatched in the Kirifuda Clutch. With nowhere to escape to, Natalya had no choice but to tap out.

Not the best match but it was a stark improvement from Orton-Wyatt. All four women told a great story that got you behind Natalya and Tamina.

First title match of night two of WrestleMania 37

Right now at WrestleMania 37, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax defend the Women's Tag Team titles against Natalya and Tamina.

The match is happening because of Natalya and Tamina winning the Tag Team Turmoil bout on night one to become the No. 1 contenders.

Randy Orton wins over The Fiend in a shocking manner

Orton def. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt.

Wyatt appeared to be on the verge of putting Orton away with Sister Abigail when Alexa Bliss appeared on top of the box dripping in black blood. Wyatt looked in amazement when Orton moved and delivered an RKO for the victory.

Orton quickly rolled out of the ring in amazement and wondered what just happened. To cap it all off, as Wyatt and Bliss are staring at one another, the lights go out and the both of them are gone to a chorus of boos from the crowd.

The entrance of Wyatt was the best thing of the match. The rest was a dumpster fire.

The red light has returned

Orton and Wyatt are wrestling in the latter's customary red light. Not a fan of this at all as it takes away from the action inside the ring as the primary focus is on the color of the light.
