Edgar Berlanga is aiming high and is targeting a fight with the undisputed ruler at 168lbs, Canelo Alvarez.
Currently a free agent after leaving Top Rank last year, Berlanga is currently one of boxing’s biggest free agents and a number of promotional organisations have already reached out to the heavy-handed New Yorker.
Berlanga, who has a huge Puerto Rican following, made his name in boxing by bulldozing his way through his first 16 opponents.
