Definitions: 

Promoter: DAZN Limited (09676399) with its registered address at 12 Hammersmith Grove, London, England, W6 7AP (“DAZN”) 

Overview: 

The FIFA Club World Cup final competition will take place between the 9 June 2025 and the 29 June 2025. Each Winner must confirm acceptance of the Prize within twenty-four hours of notification from the Promoter, as set out below. 

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the FIFA Club World Cup final competition (the “Competition”). 

The Competition is void where prohibited or restricted by law in the territory of the person entering into it and is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. 

The Promoter is running the Competition pursuant to these Terms. 

Entrant Eligibility: 

  • The Competition is open to persons that purchase a paid DAZN subscription (new users and new upgrading users only) during the Competition Entry Period (as defined below), who meet the Minimum Age Requirement (as defined below) and who are legal permanent residents of the countries or territories outlined in the table below (together, the “Entrant Countries or Territories” and each such country or territory shall be an “Entrant Country or Territory”) except employees, agents, contractors or consultants of the Promoter and their immediate families, or the Promoter's associated companies and anyone else professionally connected with the Competition (“Entrants”).

Argentina, Austria, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India (excluding Nagaland), Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Korea, Kuwait, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Mainland China, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Oman, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates (UAE), United Kingdom, Uruguay.
  • Entrants must be eighteen (18) years or older on the Opening Date (defined below), (“Minimum Age Requirement”).
  • Entrants may be required to provide documentary proof of their eligibility (including their age and place of residence) to enter the Competition. If an Entrant is unable to provide this proof when requested, the Promoter may disqualify that Entrant from the Competition.
  • The Promoter reserves the right at any time and its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant who conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or who the Promotor has reason to believe is otherwise involved in manipulating, interfering or tampering with the entry process or any other element of the Competition or who the Promoter reasonably believes to have acted in breach of these terms and conditions.
  • By entering the Competition, Entrants accept and will be bound by these Terms. 

How to enter: 

  • The Competition opens for entries on 9 June 2025 (“Opening Date”) and last entries must be before 23:59 on 29 June 2025 (“Closing Date”). The period from the Opening Date to the Closing Date (both dates inclusive) shall be referred to as the “Competition Entry Period”.
  • Entrants will be automatically entered into the Competition, during the Competition Entry Period.
  • Entrants must enter the Competition in this manner by the Closing Date and time specified.
  • Following the end of the Competition Entry Period, the Promoter shall select at random three Entrants (together, the “Winners” and each such individual Entrant selected shall be a “Winner”).
  • It is the Entrant’s responsibility to inform the Promoter of any changes to their contact details, including their residential address, e-mail address or daytime telephone number. 

Winner Notification  

  • Following the Closing Date, the Winners shall be notified via their registered email within twenty-four hours of the Closing Date.
  • The award of the prize is subject to the Winners confirming acceptance of the prize within twenty-four hours of notification by replying to the Promoter’s email. In the event that the Winners do not meet this requirement by failing to reply to the Promoter’s email within twenty-four-hours of notification, or does not accept any part of these terms and conditions (or any additional terms and conditions stipulated by any third-party relevant to the Prize (as defined below)), then they will forfeit the Prize and the Promoter may re-run the method of selection to select a replacement Winner/s. 

Prize 

  • In the event that the invitation is accepted, the Winners will each receive the following from the Promoter (collectively the “Prize”):
  • return economy class flights, to New York for the Winner and one guest;
  • two nights’ accommodation (choice of accommodation, at Promoter’s sole discretion) for the Winner and the one guest; and
  • two tickets to a FIFA Club World Cup Final at the MetLife Stadium.
  • Each Winner and each Winner’s guest are responsible for ensuring they meet any and all necessary visa requirements to travel to the FIFA Club World Cup Final in New York and must have and maintain valid passports with expiry dates no less than one year following the proposed dates of travel or other such duration as may be required by any relevant regulation. These passports and their holders must not be subject to any restrictions on their rights to travel to and from the applicable country. Passport control and in-country authorities may reserve the right to refuse entry to prize winners and/or their travelling companions. The Promoter will not be responsible for ensuring each Winner or each Winner’s guest’s ability to travel to the travel destination nor for any additional costs incurred should any Winner or any Winner’s guest be refused entry.
  • Each Winner and each Winner’s guest must comply with the terms and limitations of airlines, other transport providers, and the venues involved in the provision of the Prize, including any insurance policy relating to the travel. In particular, each Winner and each Winner’s guest must comply with all health and safety guidelines and instructions and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • It is the responsibility of each Winner and each Winner’s guest to check any travel advisories issued by the government and determine whether they wish to accept the risk of travelling to the travel destination. The Promoter will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any Winner and or any Winner’s guest arising out of their failure to follow any travel advisories issued by the government.
  • The Promoter will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any Winner or any Winner’s guest should any Winner or any Winner’s guest not redeem the Prize as a result of any government travel warning or advisory applicable to the destination country or for any other failure on their part to travel. In particular, the Promoter shall have no obligation to substitute any alternative prize, cash equivalent or other compensation where a Winner or a Winner’s guest fails to redeem a travel prize for any reason.
  • Unless otherwise stated:
  • the Prize consists of flights, accommodation and the event tickets only;
  • unless the Promoter agrees otherwise, flight departure must be from the closest airport to the prize Winner’s ordinary place of residence from which flights to the travel prize destination are available, and return flights (if part of the prize) will be to the same airport;
  • all spending money and other expenses are costs for the Winners (and each Winner’s guest) and are not provided as part of the Prize; and
  • the Prize does not include airport departure or government taxes which must be paid by each Winner and each Winner’s guest.
  • The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable. The Prize is not redeemable or exchangeable for cash and can only be taken as offered.
  • The Winners acknowledges that the Promoter is not liable or responsible if any part of the event is cancelled, varied or rescheduled for any reason. If this means that the Winners and/or any Winner’s guest cannot attend the relevant event, the Promoter shall be under no obligation to provide any cash or alternative tickets.
  • Each Winner may be required to pay taxes on any Prize won in accordance with their jurisdiction’s tax legislation and where this is the case they will be responsible for any related tax liability. For Entrants from the United States of America and Canada, Winners of a prize valued at $600 or more will receive a Federal Tax Form 1099. 

Privacy 

  • Each Winner agrees to take part in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter. To opt-out of such publicity, any Winner should notify the Promoter by contacting the Promoter.
  • Personal information which Entrants provide to the Promoter at the point of entry will be held and used by the Promoter and its group companies to administer the Competition in accordance with the Promoter 's Privacy Policy.   (https://www.dazn.com/help/articles/privacy-global) and as otherwise expressly agreed by an Entrant. The Promoter is solely and wholly responsible for any personal information they may collect or process for their purposes. If the Winner has questions about how the Promoter handle personal information or to exercise any rights, please visit the Promoter’s privacy policy for contact information. If an Entrant opts-out of any of the personal information processing described in this section, they will not be able to collect a Gift or the prize.
  • Additional term for Entrants from Argentina only: the aforementioned personal data may be delivered, used, and held only by the Promotor, its subsidiaries, companies, service providers, and contractors to administer the Competition or as otherwise described in the Promotor’s privacy policies, and to which the Entrants consent by accepting these terms. Under no circumstances will Entrants’ personal information be transferred to third parties out of the cases unless in accordance with law (e.g., with Entrants consent, if applicable). Entrants may exercise their rights with respect to the personal information processed by the Promotor, including their right to access their personal information, or find contact information by visiting their privacy policies noted above. The owner of the personal data has the power to exercise the right of access to them free of charge at intervals of no less than six (6) months, unless a legitimate interest is accredited to that effect as established in article 14, paragraph 3 of Law No. 25,326. Commercial Rights 

  • All commercial rights (including without limitation any and all marketing and media rights) relating to the Competition belong to the Promoter and their licensors.
  • Entrants shall not associate themselves with the Competition or the Promoter in any commercial manner, nor use any intellectual property rights of those parties, nor shall they permit any third parties to do so, without the prior written consent of the applicable rights holders, which consent may be granted or withheld in each of their sole discretion.
  • Any Entrant wishing to carry out or facilitate any promotional or marketing activities with respect to the Competition, will need prior written consent from the Promoter or from the respective rights holders, which may be granted or withheld in each of their sole discretion. 

Cancellation 

  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Competition, in its entirety or in part, or amend these Terms at any stage if deemed necessary in its opinion or if circumstances arise outside its control. 

Ineligibility 

  • If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms or incorrect, illegible, fraudulent or other invalid or improper information has been provided, the Promoter may in its sole discretion refuse to process an entry or, if applicable, fulfil any prize awarded. If an Entrant fails to comply with these Terms, they will be excluded from the Competition and their entry will be declared void. 

Limitation of Liability 

  • To the extent allowed by applicable law, the Promoter does not accept any responsibility for any entry, or any other correspondence related to the Competition, being lost or not being properly registered whatsoever as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. No applications from agents, third parties, organized groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted.
  • To the extent allowed by applicable law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury which an Entrant suffers as a direct or indirect result of the Competition. However, the Promoter makes no attempt to exclude or limit its liability for death or personal injury caused as a result of its negligence.
  • All conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law or otherwise in relation to the Competition are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • Where the Competition is hosted by a social networking site, the Competition is in now way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with that social networking site. 

Governing Law, Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction 

  • To the extent allowed by applicable law, these Terms and any disputes that occur will be dealt with in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Â
