Derrick Henry passed NFL legend Jim Brown for sixth place all-time in rushing touchdowns the main way he knows how — with a power running, stiff-arm TD.
In a Sunday Night Football tilt between the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills marking a rematch from their AFC Divisional Playoff game last season, 'King' Henry took a toss out the backfield and with full steam ahead mangled a Bills' defender with a nasty stiff arm on the way to an emphatic 30-yard touchdown rush.
The score gave the Ravens a 10-7 lead with 13:35 left in the second quarter and improved Henry's rushing touchdown total to 107, surpassing Brown's 106. Henry now only trails Walter Payton (110), Adrian Peterson (120), Marcus Allen (123), LaDanian Tomlinson (145) and Emmitt Smith (164) on the top rushing TD leaders in NFL history.
Following Henry's touchdown, Ravens' QB and two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson punched in a rushing TD of his own to extend Baltimore's lead to 17-10 with just under 10 minutes left in the second quarter.
The Ravens and Bills would each tack on a field goal as Baltimore took a 20-13 lead into halftime at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York.
Henry wound up punching in a second touchdown during the second half but a costly fumbled helped the Bills complete a furious rally that had them ultimately defeating the Ravens, 41-40.
