Christian McCaffery returned on Sunday for Week 1 action for the San Francisco 49ers as they travelled to Seattle to face off with NFC West rival, the Seahawks. But now, their other key offensive weapon is out of the game.
Tight end George Kittle has been ruled out for the remainder of the game with what is being deemed as a hamstring injury.
The injury happened at the beginning of the second half when Kittle went for a block and came up limping.
Kittle left the game with four catches for 25 yards and a touchdown, which occurred on the opening drive.
The 49ers are trailing the Seahawks 10-7 at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
